Bread Pudding 🍮

Ingredients :
1/4 cup Sugar
2tbsp Water
500ml Milk
1/4 Cup Sugar
2 Slice Bread
2 Eggs
Pinch of Salt
1tsp Vanilla Essence

Method :
1. Add sugar and water to a pan. On medium flame, dissolve the sugar and cook till ut turns light golden brown.
2. Pour in container and spread it.
3. Add milk and sugar in a sauce pan. Dissolve sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce milk till half quantity.
4. Cut the edges of slice bread and cut it into small pieces.
5. Transfer the bread in a bowl. Add hot milk on it. Let it sit for 10 - 15 mins.
6. Blend it to a fine paste.
7. Break eggs in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and beat well.
8. Add the bread milk paste and vanilla essence. Mix well.
9. Run it through a sieve and pour it on the caramel.
10. Cover with silver foil.
11. Place a kitchen towel in a vessel. Add water enough to cover half container. Place the pudding container and cover with lid.
12. Steam on low flame for 30 mins. Turn off flame and let it cool.
13. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
14. Loose the edges before unmoulding.
15. Flip on a plate, cut it and enjoy.
