π Chicken McNuggets
Ingredients:
πΈ 400g chicken breast with skin
πΈ 1 tsp salt or as per your taste
πΈ 1 tsp black pepper powder
πΈ 1/2 tbsp sugar
πΈ 1/2 tsp ajinamoto
πΈ 1/2 tsp chicken powder (optional)
Dry mixture:
πΈ 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
πΈ 1/2 tsp salt
πΈ 1/2 tsp white pepper powder
πΈ 1/4 tsp ajinamoto
Tempura batter:
πΈ 1/4 cup cornflour
πΈ 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
πΈ 1/2 tsp baking powder
πΈ 1/4 cup chilled water (icy cold water) βοΈ
πΈ 1 egg π₯
πΈ 1/2 tsp salt or as per taste
Method:
1. π§ Grind chicken breast with skin along with salt, black pepper powder, sugar, ajinamoto, and chicken powder to a fine paste. Refrigerate for 30 mins. Then shape into nuggets. Avoid making them too thick or theyβll puff up like balloons while frying.
2. π₯£ Mix all dry mixture ingredients and keep aside.
3. π₯ Mix all tempura batter ingredients and keep aside.
4. π½ Dip each nugget in cold water, then coat in the dry mix, then dip in tempura batter.
5. π³ Deep fry the nuggets twice:
First fry: 3β4 minutes
Second fry: 2β3 minutes on medium flame
