Date & Walnut Cake 🥧

Ingredients:
100g Seedless Dates
150g Maida
1tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Cup Water
150g Butter
150g Castor Sugar
3 Eggs
75g Walnuts
1tsp Vanilla Essence

Method:
1. Chop the dates.
2. Add dates and water to a pan. Let it boil for 1 minuts. Cool and make paste
3. Sieve maida and baking powder.
4. Beat butter and castor sugar till it turns white and fluffy.
5. Add 3 eggs. One at a time.
6. Add dry mixture (maida + baking powder)
7. Beat for a minute.
8. Add paste of dates and mix with spatula.
10. Mix walnuts in cake batter using spatula with cut and fold method. Add vanilla essence and mix well.
11. Pour batter in 7 × 7 square tin. Smooth the surface with spatula.
12. Decorate top with walnuts.
13. Bake at 170 ° C for 1 hr or until done.
