Chinese Chicken Char Siu
Ingredients:
2 Boneless Chicken Thighs(with skin)
Marinade
1 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
1 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
1 tbsps Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
1 tsp Chinese Five Spice Powder
1/2tsp white pepper
1/4 tsp red food colouring (optional)
1/2tsp Salt or as per taste
1/2tsp Chicken Powder or as per taste
Method :
1. Prep the chicken thighs by pricking it with a fork.
2. Mix above ingredients in a bowl.
3. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and mix well. Marinate for 2 hours ot overnight.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 230° C for 20 - 25 (flipping it at regular intervals)
5. Slice and serve with steamed rice and your choice of veggies.
