Lauki Ki Kheer | Bottle Gourd Kheer Recipe 🥒

Ingredients :
100g Sabudana (sago)
500g Bottle Gourd
1 Litre Milk (boiled)
2 - 3tbsp Ghee
3 Green Cardamoms
200 - 250g Sugar or as per taste
1/4 Cup Milk Powder
A Pinch of Green Food Color diluted in 1/2tbsp Water
1/2tsp Cardamom Powder
Dry Fruits of your choice

Method :
1. Soak sabudana for 2 hours. Strain & rinse.
2. Grate bottle gourd and squeeze out juices.
3. Heat ghee in a vessel. Add green cardamoms. Saute for few seconds.
4. Add grated bottle gourd. Saute for 2 - 3 mins.
5. Add sabudana and mix well.
6. Add boiled milk. Mix well & cook till sabudana rises on surface.
7. Add sugar and cook till it dissolves.
8. Add milk powder and mix till all lumps dissapear. Cook till it thickens as per desired consistency.
9. Mix a pinch of green food color with 1/2tbsp water. Add green food color, cardamom powder. Mix well.
10. Granish with dry fruits of your choice.
