Prawns Masala 🦐🦐
Ingredients :
2tbsp Oil
1/2tsp Cumin Seeds
100g Onion
Half inch Ginger
4 Garlic Cloves
2 Chillies
150g Tomatoes
2tbsp Water
3tbsp Oil
1/4tsp Turmeric Powder
1tsp K. Red Chilli Powder
1/2tsp Degi Mirch Powder
1tsp Coriander Powder
1/2tsp Cumin Powder
400g Prawns
Salt as per taste
1/2tsp Garam Masala
1 Cup Water
Chopped Coriander
Method :
1. Heat 2tbsp Oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and saute for a few seconds.
2. Add onions and saute till translucent.
3. Add ginger, garlic and chillies. Saute for a few seconds.
4. Add tomatoes ans saute for 2 mins.
5. Add water and mix well. Cover and cook till tomatoes are soft.
6. Cool and grind to a fine paste.
7. Heat 3tbsp oil in a kadhai. Add ground paste and cook till masala is completely dried and oil starts to separate.
8. Add turmeric powder, red chilli, degi mirch, coriander powder and cumin powder. Mix well and cook till oil separates.
9. Add prawns and mix well. Cook for 2 mins.
10. Add water, salt as per taste and garam masala. Mix well and bring to a boil.
11. Cover and cook for 5 mins.
12. Garnish with chopped coriander.
